Type 410 is a general hardenable, martensitic stainless steel. It combines the superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless. Its strength, good ductility and resistance to corrosion in mild atmospheres, steam and mild chemical environments make it well suited for highly stressed parts.
410 stainless is a corrosion and heat resistant 12% chromium steel. It is the most widely used of the hardenable stainless steels. Heat treated 410 has mechanical properties comparable to the engineering alloy steel AISI 4130, coupled with the additional benefit of good corrosion resistance. 410 is highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion.
Alloy 410 stainless steel plate is the general purpose 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel that can be heat treated to obtain a wide range of mechanical properties. 410 stainless steel plate possesses high strength and hardness coupled with good corrosion resistance.
410 Stainless Sheet. Stainless Steel Sheet T 410 also referred to as the general purpose grade steel, and can be hardened to various strengths and to improve its corrosion resistance. Stainless steel 410 sheet is best suited for applications that require mild corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and

Alloy 420 is a hardenable, martensitic stainless steel that is a modification of Alloy 410. Similar to 410, it contains a minimum of 12% chromium, just sufficient enough to give corrosion resistant properties. Alloy 420 has higher carbon content than Alloy 410 which is designed to
430 stainless steel sheet #4 finish is the brushed finish commonly seen on kitchen appliances and backsplashes. 430 Stainless Steel Sheet #4 finish has a PVC film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.
Alloy 410S (UNS S41008) is a low carbon, non–hardening modification of Alloy 410 (UNS S41000) the general purpose 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel. The low carbon and a small alloy addition minimize austenite formation at high temperatures which restricts the alloys ability to harden. 410S remains soft and ductile even when rapidly

Stainless Steel 409/410/420/430 Sheet Plate Coil. Stainless Steel 410 Sheets Plates (UNS S41000) is general purpose martensitic stainless steels containing 11.5 percent chromium, which provide good corrosion resistance properties. Stainless Steel 420 Sheets Plates (UNS S42000) is a high carbon steel with a minimum chromium content of 12 percent.
420 is a higher carbon version of grade 410. When fully hardened it is the hardest of this family of stainless steels. Hardness is optimised at the expense of other properties. Typical applications include cutlery, blades, surgical instruments and needle valves.
These alloys are available as plate, sheet, strip and flat bars. 2 Types 410, 420, 425 Mod, and 440A exhibit good corrosion resistance to atmospheric corrosion, potable water, and to mildly corrosive chemical enviroments 409 410 420 425 Mod 440A 430 Test Solution at 75°F (24°C), pH 5
